Victoria Multifaith Society is pleased to announce some of the
activities and events of our members and like-minded
organizations of the region. These activities and events are not
necessarily endorsed by VMS.

Community Chant Circle
Chanteurs Nancy Watters and Usha Haywood lead
delicious, soul-nourishing, prayer-songs from around
the world, accompanied by harmonium, tabla, flute
and guitar.

Kirtan Chanting / Living
Meditation Workshop
October 24 and 25th at the
Church of Truth in James Bay.
Heidi Hirdaya leads chanting in
Sanskrit, Hindi and English and has been teaching
and practicing meditation for almost 30 years, 15 of
them in the Himalayas.

Baha'i Chant & Meditation
Peacefully ponder the life of the soul, human
nobility, the oneness of humanity, pathways to
peace, the common foundation of world religions and
other mystical realities. Based on the teachings of
Baha'u'llah. Sundays, October 26 and November 16,

Oneness Wednesdays
The Church of Truth -
Community of Conscious Living, in community partnership
with a rich diversity of Victoria’s spiritual groups &
individuals, invites people of all faiths and beliefs to
come together and experience the inherent Oneness of
Humanity.
Each Wednesday evening
will be honoured as a peaceful time for reflection or
meditation in order to nurture the self and the whole of
our global village. The sessions will be free or by
donation. Everyone is warmly welcomed!

the Sisters of Saint Ann, situated on wooded property
close to the University of Victoria and Cadboro Bay
beach and village.

Upcoming programs at UVic Interfaith ServicesChaplains and representatives are appointed by local
faith communities, offering pastoral counselling, prayer
and meditation groups, learning circles, religious
education, retreats, and workshops on a variety of
topics in order to support the faith development of the
campus community. Also serves as a liaison between the
campus and religious groups in the greater Victoria
area.

community chant circle in Oak Bay;
7:30—9:00 pm, with Nancy Watters and
guest musicians. Learn beautiful

that generate vibrant health, accelerate
spiritual transformation and build
community. We chant from many faith
