Human Rights Global Dignity Conference
Held
December 6-7, 2008, at the Cadboro Bay United Church,
2625 Arbutus Rd., in
commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of the UN Declaration of Human
Rights.
Saturday:
Music, displays, keynote speakers, and a special workshop on human
rights for children.
Sunday: Workshops on
Homelessness, Mental Health, First Nations, Children's
Rights.

"Us and Them" was held
Sunday, Nov. 16, at UVic's Interfaith Chapel. A thought-provoking
90-minute session on multiculturalism and tolerance led by Sid Tafler, Victoria journalist, author,
and former editor of Monday magazine.
